Service Description

Using an Iyenger Chair as a prop, to assist in any Asanas like in many balancing or grounding postures. In this Level 1, one can learn about how to use this prop to progress themselves to a higher level of practise and still enjoy comfortably yet maintain many steady positions while getting the best support out of this chair. Benefits: Chair yoga has helped people with the symptoms of many health issues including: hypertension (high blood pressure), anxiety, chronic fatigue syndrome, arthritis, vertigo (medical), multiple sclerosis, Osteoporosis, Osteopenia, carpal tunnel syndrome, clinical depression, and chronic pain. You can learn many kinds of yoga postures, yoga breathing techniques, meditation, relaxation methods or even inversions, with the support of a chair. Suitable for regular practitioners, people who tried the Chair Basics (at least, more than 3 lessons) who wishes to progress further and any Iyengar practitioner who wish to learn using this prop to improve their poses/postures. Will give choices of other props to assist along or introduce options for people with slow recovery in an old injury, pregnancy, seniors or certain disability. Not suitable for new pregnancy, people who just undergone any types of surgery or people who other serious health issues like heart conditions.

Cancellation Policy

If reservation is cancelled 12 hrs or less before commencement of the class, a late cancellation fee of $18 will apply. Class will be fully charged for 'No Show'. Strictly no refunds will be entertained.
